The Start Of Something New...

Yesterday I finally got to work on a new SM dressage bridle. I cut all the leather (skiver) out into strips, dyed them and applied a finish. This is my first SM bridle so we will see how this goes. I have looked at other blogs that have tips on making SM bridles so I feel like that will help me.

The bride will not be adjustable but I will create the look if it were to be adjustable. This may not be the exact mold it is going to be used on. I may use it on the Standing Thoroughbred which will then be customized to have a short standing mane and standing square (for dressage salute portion) but that may or may not happen...

X-Country Jump

This is so far my favorite (and best) SM jump I have made.
This will go with my other SM jumper and a light blue eventing set that is being made by Ana Yager of Ebb&Flow Studios!

Cool Tip! - To stain wood for Props easily, use leather dye! I got mine from Michael's for under $5
Also, Kinetic sand is awesome for performance!

My 1st (and only) Western Set!

Early fall of 2014 I got a Rio Rondo western saddle kit and made my self a saddle. I am pretty proud of how it turned out since it was my first. It was not easy, but I had fun making it!

Need to make better reins
